As early as 2015, KRCONN has been deeply engaged in the R&D of USB Type‑C connectors. Leveraging years of expertise in structural design and mass production, the company has developed a comprehensive lineup of board‑mount Type‑C male connectors tailored for direct‑PCB mounting applications.
The products are available in two soldering processes—SMT surface-mount and through-hole DIP—and include both a 16‑pin basic charging version and a 24‑pin full‑feature high‑speed version. They reliably handle up to 5 A of current and support PD fast charging as well as high‑speed signal transmission. A comprehensive range of board‑mounting options is offered, including direct‑mount, side‑mount, and extended‑length configurations, with standardized dimensions that ensure compatibility with automated production lines. The designs do not feature waterproof sealing and are intended for use in dry indoor environments, making them suitable for applications such as adapter boards, charging modules, portable peripherals, and small industrial control motherboards.
